Maintenance will be performed by FICIX service-operator Cinia.
DETAILS:
The FICIX-1 IXP-platform will be replaced with new hardware at both sites (Innopoli & HDC). The update will cause all services via FICIX-1 to be down.
Members are requested NOT to shutdown ports during the work.
To avoid unnecessary blackholing of traffic, dropping BGP-sessions over FICIX-1 or preferring FICIX-2/3 NLRI's is recommendable action. FICIX will implement filters on the ports to drop BGP-sessions over FICIX-1 during the maintenance window, which should minimize risk of blackholing.
FICIX-2 and FICIX-3 sites will be in full operation during the work.
As a pre-notice, FICIX-2 IXP-platform will undergo same kind of maintenance on 29-Sep-2025.
