Finland's most important Internet exchange point FICIX is now also located in the Telia Helsinki Data Center and is immediately ready for interconnections. The site has redundant backhaul connections to FICIX1 site in Innopoli which means that all the current peers of FICIX1 can easily be reached in Telia Helsinki Data Center.
FICIX, Finnish Communication and Internet Exchange association, is Finland's largest and one of Europe's oldest interconnection points. All major Finnish networks and international networks operating in Finland are connected to FICIX nodes.
FICIX, Finnish Communication and Internet Exchange association was founded in 1993, providing a neutral and reliable IP peering facilities for its members. Ficix is a non-profit association. FICIX operates internet exchange points in Helsinki, Espoo and Oulu.
